How will my LRJ entries be graded?
Each LRJ entry is worth 25 points.
Your grade is based on content – what you have to say, how well you say it, your thoughts and feelings about the literature, and your explanation of the logic that led to your interpretation. Your grade is also based on following directions. The following explains how I will specifically be evaluating each entry.
To receive the full 25 points, LRJ entries must meet the following guidelines and expectations:
1- Entry observes proper formatting (5 points) Name of LRJ prompt appears on the first line or Title of blog post, followed by the date of the LRJ assignment on the second line. Entry is between 250-500 words.
2- Entry is thoughtfully written, creative and relevant (10 points) Evidence is given that the prompt was carefully considered and the entry reflects thought and creativity. The response must in some way directly address the prompt – all parts of the prompt.
3- Entry observes proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. (5 points) Although these LRJ entries are informal compositions, they should still read as if an intelligent person wrote them.
4- Entry is emailed to me and appears as part of your blog entry (5pts)
